The Beginning of Must Seed

I’ve always been more of an observer on social media than someone who openly shares online. But this season of life has felt different, and this felt like something worth writing down.

Over the past two years, I’ve been quietly carrying an idea that has slowly become very close to my heart — a faith-driven clothing brand called MUST SEED.

The name was inspired directly by Matthew 17:20, where Jesus speaks about having faith as small as a mustard seed.

That verse has meant a lot to me, especially in this current season. It has reminded me that God does not need us to have everything perfectly figured out before we begin. Sometimes, all He asks for is a small seed of faith.

MUST SEED first came to me around two years ago, but for a long time, it was just an idea sitting quietly in the background. I would think about it, dream about it, create small pieces of it, and then pause again. Over time, the vision kept changing, growing, and becoming clearer.

Only recently have I felt the true meaning and purpose behind it become much more real.

Starting a business is exciting, but I’ve realised it can also be confronting. It makes you question your comfort, your security, your timing, and whether you are really ready to step into something bigger than what feels safe and familiar.

For me, MUST SEED is not just about clothing.

It is about faith.
Purpose.
Courage.
Obedience.
And creating pieces that carry meaning in a subtle, beautiful, and timeless way.

I want MUST SEED to be intentional. Subtle in design, but deeply rooted in faith. The clothing itself may be refined, wearable, and timeless, but the meaning behind it is not hidden.

I genuinely believe God has been placing this on my heart, and in this season, I feel called to take the leap of faith.

Part of why I decided to create this blog while building the product is because I want people to connect with the heart behind the brand, not just the final pieces.

Of course, I am excited to create beautiful, meaningful clothing. But more than that, I want to build a space that feels personal, honest, and rooted in faith - whether someone one day purchases from MUST SEED, reads along quietly, or simply feels curious about the journey.

I want this blog to become a place for founder journal entries, weekly devotions, reflections, behind-the-scenes moments, and honest thoughts about building something from the ground up.

As a Catholic, my faith is at the centre of this brand. MUST SEED is faith-led, and although it is inspired by my own Catholic journey, I want this space to feel welcoming to anyone who feels drawn to it - whether they are Catholic, looking into Catholicism, questioning faith, returning to faith, or simply curious.

This is what I mean when I say MUST SEED is more than just clothing.

It is about creating something with meaning, building a community around faith and purpose, and allowing people to be part of the journey from the very beginning.

I am still very much at the beginning. I am learning everything from design and sampling, to suppliers, fabrics, branding, content, business planning, and what it actually takes to build something from the ground up.

But I want to document the journey properly.

Not just the polished final product.
Not just the perfect photos.
Not just the finished pieces.

But the real process.

The quiet decisions.
The uncertainty.
The lessons.
The prayers.
The small steps of faith.

This is the beginning of MUST SEED.

A small seed of faith, planted with purpose.
